Job Title: Head of Athletic Facilities & Grounds
Work Days: Full Time
Reports To: Maintenance & Activities Director
REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalency, custodial experience preferred
JOB SUMMARY: Maintain and enhance the appearance and function of the athletic complex and athletic grounds designated as the work area of responsibility.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conduct routine housekeeping, repair and facility maintenance functions
2. Clean locker rooms, concession stands, coaches office, ticket booths, etc.
3. Clean and disinfect shower rooms and rest rooms
4. Sweep and clean bleachers and press boxes
5. Mow and trim grass on various fields and grounds
6. Keep all areas free of garbage at all times
7. Maintain fences, sprinkler system lines and heads
8. Prepare for athletic events; including equipment needs and field preparation
9. Carries out procedures to maintain grounds security and access to buildings
10. Follows procedures to economize resources for heat, light, water, and supplies
11. Other duties as designated by the activities and maintenance director
Working Conditions: Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and push or pull 100 pounds and be able to walk without fatigue or discomfort |
