DESCRIPTION: The Part-Time Parking Attendant is responsible for enforcing Lake Area Technical College's parking policies and procedures. This role involves patrolling parking lots, educating students and guests on parking rules, and issuing tickets for non-compliance. The Parking Attendant will also document infractions using a camera and assist in maintaining a safe and orderly parking environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enforce the Lake Area Tech parking policies and procedures.
- Patrol parking lots and ticket vehicles not in compliance with the policy.
- Educate students and guests on parking policies and procedures.
- Document infractions through ticketing and photos.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean of Student Services.
REPORTS TO: Dean of Student Services, Vice President
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent people skills with an affinity for working with students and coworkers in a team environment.
- Exemplary customer service skills required.
- Experience with enforcing policies is a plus.
- Commitment to enforcing parking policies and procedures in an equitable manner.
- Ability to operate a camera to document infractions.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Part time, up to 20 hours a week. Hours may vary based on college needs. Compensation set by the Watertown School Board.
